Job Description:
This position reports to an IT Supervisor, as do other staff jobs in application and Testing areas of SAP and mainframes. This will be a critical role to ensure the current applications remain functional while we scale and extend it over time. This role will be vital for the successful delivery of S4 Hana and PDNO projects in the next 2 to 3 years. The resource will be entrusted to lead the testing team, working hand in hand with the business teams to facilitate testing process adherence and timely test execution.
Responsibilities of the incumbent are execution of manual and automation script using Micro focus tool on the functionalities like CRM, FI, SPP and EWM of SAP and in-depth knowledge on data integration between and SAP as part of testing. Creation of manual and automated scripts and problem-solving skills required to analyze SAP/Mainframes issues occurring as part of testing.
Mandatory Experience/ Skills
Strong experience on business processes like OTC, P2P, claims and returns, Quality inspection process required for testing.
In depth knowledge on EWM areas like outbound, inbound and internal process with problem solving skill to handle issues.
Strong Experience on Integration between SAP to SAP, SAP to Non-SAP and Non-SAP to SAP. Have good experience on IDocs, EDI and Flat files processing etc.
Strong knowledge on Delivery related billing and order related billing process and creation of claims and returns.
Strong experience on SAP Finance processes like AR posting. AP posting, Revenue recognition etc.
Strong Experience on Integration between CRM, SPP, FI and EWM with external systems.
Knowledge on S/4 HANA migration and implementation will be an added advantage.
Work with Global business partners and functional teams to understand the new business process and deliver quality testing.
Collect and document business process scenarios and share with team members.
BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE:
Requires a relevant degree, relevant certification, or equivalent experience. The incumbent should have at least 8-9 years’ experience in the areas of SAP FI modules, General Ledger accounting, Accounts Payable and Account Receivable. In addition, the incumbent should have a good knowledge of Caterpillar policies and procedures, and a general understanding of Caterpillar’s organization.
