Job Description:
Primary Responsibilities:
Be accountable to ensure successful completion of Functional Specification on-time, within budget and high-quality working with diverse global business and IT members across enterprise.
Be responsible to define and co-develop the business processes, Functional & Software requirement specifications for the identified system solution, and project requests.
Be accountable to Collaborate with Software Architects and Project Managers to develop the project estimate and staff plan to realize the project goals
Manage multiple projects concurrently.
Lead the IT development staff during kick-off, planning, execution & closure phases to provide functional specification clarity.
Document functional and IT requirements from various business partners.
Perform stakeholder management and provide ongoing functional specification updates with Project Managers, IT Supervisors and other team members.
Resolve issues and eliminate roadblocks to realize IT application to ensure no delay in project implementation.
Basic Qualifications:
Masters or bachelor’s degree in computer science (IT), or a related discipline is required
8 plus years of progressively complex IT system design and development experience
Minimum 3 years of Broad Experience in functional & software analysis in enterprise IT systems focused on Trade Operations business functions development, configurations, and deployment
Experience in IT architecture development in either waterfall or agile project methodology
Strong understanding and experience in Trader Operations and Supply chain concepts
Experience in integrating external providers IT systems with enterprise systems
Collaborative skills working with Business Partners and Solution Architect to create the functional specification, test cases, test data and provide clarity to analysts to realize IT systems
Strong understanding and experience with the software development Lifecycle and working with IT Development team in realizing project solutions
Strong Organization and Planning skills
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to adjust plan to evolving business needs
Knowledge of using various databases such as DB2, Oracle and Snowflake by developing complex queries to perform data analysis
Top Candidates will also have:
Minimum 10 Years of IT Experience in software development and testing
Knowledge of configuration and integration experience working with any supply chain solutions that focus on Global Trader Management systems
Knowledge & experience in project management knowledge areas (Cost and Time-Line Estimation, Resource Planning)
Strengths in areas of personal planning, initiating actions, delegation, building consensus, decision making, leadership and interpersonal skills.
Lean or 6 Sigma training
Experience functional specification development in Distributed / Mainframe/ Integration/ Salesforce will be an added advantage
Experience in working with Software as a Service (SaaS) & Platform as a Service (PaaS) providers systems
