Position 2 : Service Desk Engineer
Location : Bangalore
Education : Any graduate ,preferably BE/B.Tech
Experience : 1-2 yr
Key Skill : support, Strong written and verbal communication skill
Notice Period : 30 days
Responsibilities :
1. Service Desk Coordinator will be tasked with assisting Users remotely through multiple channels like phone, e-mail, chat or in-person.
2. Answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming requests for assistance from users experiencing technical problems.
3. To be the first point of contact for User and create, assign and respond to queries on ticket status.
4. To be available at work as per the schedule posted
5. To share a daily dash after their shift
6. To follow the process guidelines, work within the technical training provided
7. If any projects are given to complete it within the timeframe committed
8. Comply to the policy and norm set by the Decathlon Management team and carry mission during their period
Job Description :
Provide pricing quotes for items and prepare orders with suppliers.
Assist with preparing help desk SOP’s; rules and procedures.
Update all the activity on the ticket
Responsible for managing all the IT assets and software technically and rectifying the issues reported by users.
Maintain asset databases to ensure proper location tracking. Activities include
asset tagging, documentation, and database management
Establish and maintain vendor relationships
Delivery – Projects and Team Management
Handling the IT Asset (Configuration, Request, Problem, and Availability) Management.
Handling stores and stores activity efficiently
Attending the User issues and assigning them to the right Engineers and updating the same in the helpdesk tool.
Track the status of customer calls and update the database with the Engineers response & resolution time and document the customer interaction information.
Monitor SLA compliance for internal Users, including follow-up with internal staff and vendors on issues raised by users including escalations and provide to and fro communication
Take up access requests, account resets and Maintenance activities requests and provide resolution
Accurate and timely generation Daily, weekly/ monthly report as needed
Handle related responsibilities to the Role which may change from time to time.
