Hands on SAP processes for min 4 years
Strength in understanding of business processes /functionalities around book keeping, accounts, financial statements, closure of books, depreciation, asset management, treasury, accounting standards, GAAP, IFRS, SOX, Indian direct / indirect duties /taxes etc .
Ability to plan, coordinate, and direct the work of cross-department teams engaged in various professional, technical, and support functions and to do requirement study with function.
Quick at understanding the business issues, pain points and challenges of org.
Knowledgeable on implementation + project + support related processes, issue tracking & management
Effective resource & time management
Knowledge of Best practices in function
Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution.
Leads testing efforts.
Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner during testing.
Communicates needed changes to development team.
Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules during project execution.
Manages resources (external & internal) and partners in accordance with project schedule & SLAs.
Delivers informative, well-organized presentations and can communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
Should possess Good Technical Understanding and preferably Retail background – understanding of warehouse /logistics / c&f is an added plus.
PROFESSIONAL QUALITIES
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Primary POC (point of contact) – for enhancements in & around SAP FI /AA /AM /TRM.
Drive & manages maintenance & support, enhancements & projects effectively towards completion in time, meeting SLAs, using resources judiciously & effectively and high productivity. Plan implementations with least calculated risks with mitigation /rollback /alternative plans. Apprising all stakeholders especially reporting head regularly & escalating (if necessary) .
Maintains all proper documents related to project in accepted formats as per known standards
Handing over of the enhancement /project to support team with KT
Leads maintenance & support, enhancement & project team related to above associated business processes
Training team and end users
Suggest best practices /improvements to function and implements them with stakeholders buy-in
Effective testing of changes
Does business process study with the help of business team. Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution. Draft RFP and RFQs, evaluate partners & various solutions offerings from vendors.
Leads testing efforts.
