A crusher machine manufacturing company in Palakkad, Kerala is looking for a PLM System Administrator with 2-5 years of experience
Responsibilities:
1. PLM System Administration:
– Install, configure, and maintain the PLM system, including software updates and patches.
– Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and data integrity.
– Manage user accounts, security settings, access controls, and permissions.
– Create and maintain system documentation, including system configuration, processes, and workflows.
2. User Support and Training:
– Provide technical support and user assistance for the PLM system.
– Respond to user inquiries, troubleshoot system-related issues, and resolve user problems.
– Conduct user training sessions and develop training materials to ensure effective system utilization.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address user feedback and improve system usability.
3. Data Management and Configuration:
– Define and enforce data management standards and best practices.
– Configure and maintain data structures, including parts, assemblies, and bill of materials (BOMs).
– Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and completeness throughout the product lifecycle.
– Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize data management processes and implement data governance policies.
4. System Enhancement and Customization:
– Identify opportunities for system enhancements and customization based on business requirements.
– Work closely with IT teams or vendors to implement system upgrades, new features, or integrations.
– Conduct testing and validation of system changes to ensure compatibility and functionality.
– Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, or modules to enhance PLM system capabilities.
5. Change Management:
– Implement and maintain change management procedures for the PLM system.
– Coordinate and manage system changes, including release management and version control.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the impact of system changes on processes and data.
– Ensure proper documentation and traceability of system changes and configurations.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
– Proven experience as a PLM System Administrator or in a similar role.
– Strong knowledge of PLM systems and their functionalities.
– Proficient in system administration, configuration, and troubleshooting.
– Familiarity with data management principles, including parts, BOMs, and change management.
– Experience in system customization, integrations, and upgrades.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
– Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and stay updated on industry trends.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: Up to ₹35,000.00 per month
