Citi Looking for IT Business Lead Analyst – CTS Pune at Pune, Maharashtra Full Time

Team Overview:
Regulatory demands and the focus on Markets Surveillance have intensified globally. As a result the Trade Surveillance Technology team at Citi Pune has an increased book of work that requires additional business lines, countries, and more sophisticated surveillance methods to be delivered using our strategic platforms. These platforms allow users to monitor trading activity across multiple asset classes and information barriers, on real time, end of day, and historic lookup bases for indications of potential Market Abuse, Insider Dealing, and other types of fraud. As we further expand global coverage and deliver more sophisticated Behavioural Analytics based solutions, we are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Project Manager to join the team.

The successful candidate will be an established BA / PM, with a strong background working within technology teams to deliver projects and roll out new products. This role will also offer the highest calibre candidate additional development opportunities to get involved in the design, prototype, and implementation of new industry leading surveillance techniques based on advanced data analytics, behavioural analytics, and machine learning. Some prior knowledge of Features Engineering or Features Design would be advantageous, but is not essential.

Responsibilities:
Working with Junior/Senior Compliance stakeholders globally throughout the SDLC to gather requirements, perform scope/change management tasks, facilitate UAT and achieve sign-off.

Producing high quality documentation e.g. BRDs/FRDs using Citi’s standard templates and reviewing test cases/expected results produced by testing team

Leading a team of data analysts, software developers, testers and other technology teams though the entire project lifecycle.

Assisting data scientists with solution design during prototyping phases.

Working with a global and diverse range of people and systems across multiple business and technology units.

Required Skills:
Exceptional Project Leadership, with the ability to bring multiple technical teams together, both onsite and remotely, to work towards common goals and on time product delivery

Database querying and SQL skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills and ability to express ideas to people from various business and technology backgrounds

Ability to quickly and accurately identify and analyse relevant information relating to projects

Ability to build strong relationships and partnerships with stakeholders

In addition to the above any of the following would be considered a distinct advantage

Understanding of Capital Markets, for example trading, the trade lifecycle, exchanges, market participants, etc. across multiple asset classes

Good understanding of Capital Markets related data (e.g. Trade Orders and Executions, Reference Data, Market Data, etc.)

Product Knowledge relating to any of the financial markets, e.g. Equities, FX, Exchange Traded and OTC Derivatives, Commodities, Fixed Income, etc.

A keen interest in Trade Surveillance, Capital Markets, and Data Analytics / Data Science

Use of appropriate interpersonal and communication skills to gain acceptance of an idea, plan or activity

Experience with Data Mining, Big Data, Advanced Analytics, Machine Learning

Ability to record and restate information in an effective and professional manner

Outstanding attention to detail, and determination to design robust and complete solutions

Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment

Ability to accurately make use of logic and consider all relevant facts to make rational, realistic and sound decisions

Meticulous planning and an organized approach to work

Ability to leverage functional and business knowledge
