You will be reporting to the Global Technology (GT) team.
The Global Technology Operations and Infrastructure team is responsible for providing technical support and service delivery to the users within the Group. This includes the IT Service Desk, PC support, PC software, printers, e-mail, internet access, video conferencing and the global IT network and server infrastructure.
Accountabilities
How you will contribute:
Provide IT support to internal users
Troubleshoot users network and end user computing problems
Provide guidance to users on ‘how to’ question
Administer IT Joiner/Mover/Leaver process
Deliver training and IT orientation to users
PC setup and software installations
Meeting support and administration
Support Mobile devices (iOS/Android)
Windows server administration
Software system administration
Configuration of network equipment such as switches, routers and firewall
Server room and cabling management.
IT Inventory management
Manage IT-related activities for office move
Manage third party IT vendors on projects and support work.
Provide technical advice to business on IT and telephony solutions
Experience, skills and professional attributes
The ideal skills for this role include:
Good interpersonal and communications skills with 3+ years of experience in IT support
Can explain technical details in layman language
Inquisitive, able to solve problems and come up with solutions
Organized, analytical, practical – good attention to detail
Able to work independently
Fluent in Hindi and good command of English, both spoken and written
Experience in providing networking and end user technical support
Familiar with Windows environment (Windows 10 and onwards) and Microsoft Office suite of products
Knowledge on server room and cabling standards
Exposure on Mac/iOS/Android
Knowledge on common network protocols, especially on TCP/IP and WAN/LAN
Knowledge on Cloud applications especially Google G-Suite of apps
Experience in managing IT-related activities in Office Move projects is added advantage
Previous working experience in an international team desirable
Ability to clearly communicate needs and statuses
Ability to accurately estimate effort, set and meet deadlines
Familiar with numbers and mathematical analysis
Ability to influence others without direct managerial authority
