Job brief
We are looking for a high-performing Director of Sales & Client Relationships. The successful candidate will meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. To create and nurture long-term relationships with customers. You will resolve any issues that arise to ensure customers are satisfied with our services.
Responsibilities
Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets all over the globe through various channels (Bidding portals / Social Networking / IT Trade shows & events)
Develop and execute strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
Create plans to address clients’ business needs
Advise clients on creating profitable processes
Schedule regular meetings with customers to ensure they are satisfied
Act as point of contact for complaints and escalate issues as appropriate
Help sales team up-sell or cross-sell services and products
Ensure both the company and clients adhere to contract terms
Study competition to find new ways to retain customers
Set sales and revenue targets and work diligently to meet them
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. sales, software developers, senior management) to address customers needs
Requirements
Requirements and skills
Previous experience as a sales manager or sales and marketing director / client relationship manager
Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization
Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
Proven ability to position products against competitors
Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
A customer-oriented attitude
Problem-solving aptitude
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Any graduate with logical abilities
Experience Required: 15-20 years of experience in IT/ITES organization.
