Job title: Service Transition & Operations Coordinator
Your responsibilities
You perform different roles
Role: Coordinator in the Service Transition domains
Analyse and define user requirements to ensure that the technical analyst or sometimes the designer is given sufficient input so that the development/configuration of the story or load of the data can start.
Deliver insights towards management and service centers because of the assignment “Audit & Control” to optimize the ITSM process so that it is in line with the defined policies.
Follow up end-to-end the progress of the ICT request and stories on an ICT functional level means you are the single point of contact for the end user in case of questions regarding content and timeline.
Coordinate functional integration tests to determine whether the solution will be accepted by end users and give feedback to the technical team about the results of the test.
Boost and stimulate the quality regarding the used processes and tools to ensure that the user can be offered the best services. This by maintaining knowledge, on-the-job learning, networking with other teams in the field.
Develop, document, maintain procedures, processes and methods.
Functionally guide and support the delivery teams to bring the projects to a successful conclusion. Ensuring required transition activities are completed, validated & sign off prior to ‘go live’ milestones.
Coordinate communications including but not limited to: o Organize Boards (CAB, ECAB, Lessons Learned)
Make minutes of meetings
Report on daily operations and analyse trends, figures.
Role: Ombuds & oncall
Take up the ombuds role by answering specific Requests For Information, taking up ICT Request Tasks, solving ICT Incidents, ICT Change Requests.
On call duty after a 6-month learning period and successful evaluation of the ombuds tasks.
There is a growth path to the roles of key user and mentor of a newcomer.
Your profile
Qualification: B.Tech Computer science/BCA/MCA
Experience: 2+ years (relevant) within the IT Service Management domain like for example IT Change, Service Asset and Configuration, Incident Management (handling IT requests, assessment of IT Changes, preparing CAB/ECAB, assisted in audit preparation, incident manager activities etc)
Basic ITIL knowledge is a must, ITIL Foundation an asset
Good knowledge of an ITSM application within the context of IT Change, Incident and Problem Management (ServiceNow or equivalent)
