1 Resolving IT Hardware,network & software related queries & new installation requests of users remotely via email and phone, or at the office.
2 Fixing hardware issues including replacing equipment and peripherals such as computers, terminals and routers.
3 Responsible for PC’s, Printers, Servers, Backup media, Telephone systems and IT related equipment.
4 Avoiding service interruptions by performing system installations, updates, and maintenance procedures.
5 Network/Servers Hardware & software administration and support.
6 Computer Sofware, Commercial and Engineering applications administration and support.
7 Testing and analyzing IT system and software performance.
8 Prioritizing and resolving IT concerns and escalating serious issues to relevant stakeholders.
9 Making recommendations to optimize IT performance and to prevent future problems.
10 Maintaining IT documentation including Hardware Inventory reports, E-Waste Inventory reports , service desk records, network and user details.
11 Responsible for data Backup management – Weekly, Monthly & yearly
12 Working in a technical call centre (where applicable).
