IT Support Technician – Tier 1

Responsibilities
Answer phone and email requests for technical assistance and perform Tier 1 troubleshooting and analysis.
Provide setup, imaging, upgrades, repair and inventory control services for PC’s at the local site.
First point of contact for providing support for all IT applications and systems to internal end users.
Provide quick resolution and excellent customer service and redirect unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel, providing complete detailed of diagnosis.
Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.
Moving or relocating workstations as required, for both small and large projects.
Maintain a positive work environment that fosters team performance. Support and contribute open communications flow inside and outside the Technology Team.
The local IT Support Technicians are the primary source for daily support tasks on the production floor and are responsible for escalating to next level if the problem is beyond their area of expertise and responsibility.
Assist in AV setups as needed for meetings and performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Maintain technical documentation and service catalog on installation of software, configuration of hardware and problem troubleshooting.
Ability to work flexible hours and accommodate any of the IT Support Services shifts. Some overtime might be required. Ability to provide after-hours 24/7 on-call or on-site support.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or relevant work experience
1 + years working experience in helpdesk support
Strong problem-solving skills
Ability to support 24/7 on-call rotation
10% travel required
