Job Description:
Managerial Responsibilities:
As an IT lead should analyze any IT related requirement/concern at the first level raised by other departments in BLR

Ensure all support-related calls are handled promptly (within SLA) and diagnosed accurately and provide appropriate responses promptly & track till closure.

Maintain & monitor all evidence/artifacts captured for any audit.

Publish dashboard against all possible infrastructure/IT service-related measurements.

Monitor all day to day operational tasks being performed by the team & the vendor

Technical Responsibilities:
Datacenter Management & controlling the IT infrastructure in Bangalore.

a. Manage/monitor all servers & network equipment installed in the data center along with its backup activity.

b. For any new server/network/infra application installation should conduct installation task in coordination with all possible internal/external stakeholders.

Responsible for uptime of all standard infrastructural applications/services installed in Bangalore like Cloud setup, Virtualization setup, Mail server, AD server, Lync, Virus Scanner, etc.

Participate in the evaluation process of any new product implementation in IT & needs to perform the POC for the same.

Responsible for handling all possible requirements from different units for computing & network resource like servers, software, workstation & Network connectivity to customers.

Review different security logs & raise the concern against critical incidents to managers.

Take a lead role to handle any change management in IT infrastructure.

Skills Required:
Functional:
Ability to work independently, take ownership, and should be able to handle pressure situations.

Ability to communicate/coordinate effectively at all levels/ external & internal stakeholders in a friendly and helpful manner displaying tact, consideration, and clarity.

Technical:
Critical – Linux Administration (KVM, Openstack), Network/security (Switching, Routing, VLAN), Datacenter Management (SAN Storage, HP/IBM Chassis/Blades, Enterprise servers)

Essential – Virtualization(Red Hat), Hardware Troubleshooting – Servers & SAN Storage

Good to Have – Anti-Virus, Patch Mgt., MS-Lync, Back-up Tools, Monitoring Tools, Microsoft Exchange, Windows AD
