Comviva Looking for Solution Architect – Customer Engineering at Gurgaon, Haryana Full Time

The primary role of this person is to design/solution for customer specific deployments. This is important to have this position with in Project Engineering so that solutioning is well thought through and not left to individual project managers/engineers and a disciplined approach to deployment is brought in. This person will also drive the best practices of deployment and enforce them with in Project Engineering to bring down our costs of deployment.

Person should be around 15 years of experience in solutioning space and have a good exposure on Enterprise design patterns, technology and primarily hands on technical to guide the team.

We are looking for a solution architect to design and implement systems architecture that will meet project needs of all products of DFS. The solution architect’s responsibilities include gathering requirements and functional specifications, assessing the current software systems in place in order to identify areas of change , and overseeing project engineering development teams. The person should also be able to regularly update the company on any developments in deployment projects.

To be successful as a solution architect, you should be able to integrate any updated specifications and requirements into the systems architecture. An outstanding solution architect should be able to explain complex problems to management in layman’s terms.

Solution Architect Responsibilities:
Assessing the systems architecture currently in place and working with technical staff to recommend and implement solutions specific to every deployment.

Resolving technical challenges as they arise.

Providing supervision and guidance to project engineering development teams.

Continually researching current and emerging technologies and proposing changes where needed.

Informing various stakeholders about any problems with the current technical solutions being implemented on field and have a mitigation plan for the same.

Assessing the business impact that certain technical choices have in terms of deployment.

Solution Architect Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science, or related field.

Proven experience in engineering and software architecture design.

Previous project management experience is advantageous.

In-depth understanding of coding languages (Java, JavaScript).

Sound working experience in Enterprise design patterns

Technically proficient in delivering high availability solutions and optimising delivery cost.

Sound knowledge of various operating systems and databases.

Efficient communication skills.

Strong organizational and leadership skills.
