Manager, IT Integrations, Pune, India
Manager, IT Integrations is a key member of the IT Integrations team within a dynamic SaaS company full of high caliber engineers. This individual will provide architectural and technical leadership across a number of systems integrations related projects and strategic programs within the organization. This role is responsible for the oversight, design and development of solution architectures, application of architectural standards, principles and policies while balancing business needs and ensuring alignment with endorsed strategies, standards and patterns. The role involves extensive stakeholder management with a wide variety of groups and individuals including multiple functional teams, key business stakeholders and different IT teams.
In this role you will…
Lead and execute the complete Mulesoft development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, documentation, configuration, development, testing, and deployment; take ownership of escalated or complex issues and follow through to resolution.
Hands-on and strategic involvement in scaling our custom applications and systems integrations to meet the demands of a fast growing, collaborative, and dynamic organization.
Oversee development initiatives and serve as an escalation point for the integration team.
Responsible for leading, managing and mentoring a dedicated team of development professionals in MuleSoft and Java full stack.
Define integration requirements from architectural specifications.
Review integration plans, integration reports and test procedures.
Identifying project milestones, tasks, dependencies, resources, estimates, issues, risks and providing regular project status reports.
Implement best practices/standards across all phases of the software development lifecycle, including discovery, analysis, requirements definition, solution design, configuration, code development, testing, deployment and support.
Research, recommend and implement upgrades to technical stack and platform.
Provide hands-on development.
Responsible for building integrations between business applications (such as Salesforce, Oracle, Zuora, NetSuite, Coupa) and 3rd party systems/applications.
Provide assistance with end-user application/integration support (troubleshooting errors, managing support tickets, and testing solutions); serve as an escalation point for support issues.
Collaborate with QA resources to build testing plans, scenarios, scripts, and data to support QA efforts; actively participates in unit, system, and user acceptance testing.
Design and build performant data integrations working independently and in partnership with a global team of PMs, business analysts, and developers (onsite and offshore);
Provide vision for enhancements, technical design, and participate in design reviews to ensure governance principles and best practices are followed;
Create clear, structured and effective documentation that will enable developers of upstream and downstream applications to use Mulesoft based APIs.
Proactively seek opportunities for process improvement: identify and resolve process bottlenecks, data issues, and inconsistencies to help improve operational efficiencies.
Suggest improvements inspired by ideas from the global Mulesoft community.
Follow Agile principles to projects. Conduct regular knowledge sharing sessions with developers to drive adoption of Mulesoft based integrations.
Perform change management functions associated with larger scale/impact configuration
Create, manage and enforce application configuration and SDLC standards.
You have what it takes if you have…
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, related field of study or equivalent work experience
5+ years experience in systems integrations design and development.
Proven ability to lead large scale enterprise wide initiatives.
Proven experience providing oversight for multiple, concurrent development deliverables.
Should have the ability to drive process improvement tracking and execution.
Strong business and technical acumen with understanding of integration tools and techniques.
3+ years experience with MuleSoft development, configuration and system administration;
3+ years experience working with backend systems and large, disparate, and complex datasets.
Experience with AWS infrastructure is a must.
Demonstrated understanding and familiarity with standard IT process and application development methodologies.
Proven experience in technical leadership for project delivery: technical delivery planning and work.
Advanced knowledge of Agile-based SDLC practices and application to systems integration.
Experience working in complex and large scale project/ program environments requiring extensive internal and external stakeholder management and negotiation.
Experience working closely with scrum teams and external parties to ensure architecture and design.
Strong negotiation and people skills to ensure decisions are reached with appropriate speed and followed through to delivery.
Relevant IT certifications.
