We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our IT Infra team as an IT Helpdesk Coordinator.
As the IT Helpdesk Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing technical support and ensuring efficient resolution of IT-related issues for our organization. Your role will involve coordinating helpdesk activities, managing user inquiries, troubleshooting technical problems, and maintaining accurate documentation of support tickets.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
1) Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related inquiries and issues from end-users.
2) Respond promptly and professionally to user requests for technical assistance, either in person, via chat, phone, email, or through the ticketing system.
3) Coordinate and prioritize helpdesk activities, ensuring timely resolution of support tickets and adherence to service level agreements.
4) Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate IT personnel and follow up to ensure resolution.
5) Maintain accurate records of IT support requests and resolutions using a ticketing system, ensuring timely updates and closure of tickets.
6) IT assets inventory management.
7) Assist in the setup and configuration of new computer systems, including user accounts, and email accounts. etc.
8) Coordination with external vendors on any technical issues.
9) Reporting of the ticketing system.
10) Provide training and guidance to users on basic IT operations, such as software usage, password management, and data backup procedures.
Requirements:
1) Proven experience in a similar IT support or helpdesk role.
2) Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
3) Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques.
4) Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
5) Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
6) Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
