Provides comprehensive application functionality, configuration and support expertise for application software solutions; works with business analysts, architects, technical experts and software vendors on the solution requirements, design, configuration, functionality gap resolution, implementation, support, maintenance and enhancement of the applications.
Analyzes and evaluates application functionality and provides recommendations to increase utilization of standard application functionality to improve business processes and capabilities
Determines and documents optimum application setup and configuration to meet functional requirements and specifications; configures and verifies application setup and configuration
Develops expertise in emerging application and solution trends and functionality; provides functional recommendations for assigned applications and systems.
Conducts analysis of potential application solutions, identifies and recommends solutions to address functionality gaps in the application.

Serves as subject matter expert and point of contact on content, processes, procedures and functionality associated with assigned applications for projects and application support (as needed).

Solution Design – Creates and defines the solution design complete with instrumentation and measurement, using industry standards and tools, version control, and build and test automation to synthesize diagrams, models and documentation in order to build a solution that meets buildability, business, technical, security, governance and compliance requirements.
Solution Functional Fit Analysis – Composes and decomposes a system into its component parts using procedures, tools and work aides for the purpose of studying how well the component parts were designed, purchased and configured to interact holistically to meet business, technical, security, governance and compliance requirements.
Solution Modeling – Creates, designs and formulates models, diagrams and documentation using industry standards, tools, version control, and build and test automation to meet business, technical, security, governance and compliance requirements.
Solution Configuration – Configures, creates and tests a solution for commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) applications using industry standards and tools, version control, and build and test automation to meet business, technical, security, governance and compliance requirements.

Education, Licenses, Certifications
College, university, or equivalent degree in Information Technology, Business or a related subject required.

Reporting to the IT Planning Leader, the candidate will be part of a team responsible for delivering IT planning solutions that enable our First Fit sites into transformation journey.
The candidate will take ownership for specific areas of the solutioning, handling the more complex requirements, driving the correct solutions, minimizing or avoiding customizations, but when that is not possible, always ensuring what is built works across globally and is never site specific.
Upon joining the team, the candidate will be part of the “Advance Planning Solutions Program”. This multi-year program is in partnership with Corporate Supply Chain Solutions, Corporate Planning function, Integrated Supply Planning function to deliver best in class planning solutions using the Blue Yonder Sequencer, Material Compliance, i2 Demand Manager and Oracle Advanced Supply Chain Planning.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Will be a member of a program team to help deliver the First Fit Planning Transformation Strategy
Deploy Oracles Advanced Planning, Blue Yonder Operational Sequencing and Scheduling, IQR’s Inventory Quality Ratio and EY VC Synch modules to our first fit manufacturing plants, giving a best in class set of Sequencing, Master Production Scheduling and Material Requirements Planning tools and processes.
Responsible for delivering IT solutions and integrations that support the ever improving First Fit Planning Supply Chain processes (ie: requirements capture, design, build, test and implement).
Provide IT subject maters expertise in demand, inventory and supply planning.
Business partner to Supply Chain Solutions, Corporate Global Planning and site functions to support business needs.
Partner with Integration Services and Architecture to deliver robust integrations.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Prior experience in deploying Supply Chain IT Solutions, with proven requirement gathering, solutioning and technical IT skills.
Functional and IT knowledge of supply chain.
IT knowledge of any of the leading software platforms: e.g. Blue Yonder, Kinaxis, Oracle etc.
Expertise in writing SQL queries.
Good communication skills, comfortable explaining complex IT and business processes simply and clearly.
Ability to learn fast and absorb supply chain principles and apply them to the solutions you build.
Experience in Material Resource Planning, Inventory, Purchasing and Order Management is ideal.
The candidate’s communication skills both spoken and written must be strong as you will be engaging with fellow IT professionals, business partners and leaders.
