Mission As an IT Software Engineer – Chief you will have the following responsibilities.
You will be an individual contributor along with other skilled software engineers
You work closely together with the Solution Architects, Area Leads and the Chapter Leads to define, architect and develop core IT systems for the bank.
You are responsible for mentoring and helping junior chapter members in day to day work.
At the same time, you will be an active member of a squad with a dedicated area of responsibility and strong delivery focus
You are also responsible for reviewing the artefacts developed by other developers in a peer or team mode and ensuring that they comply with our various set standard
Lead developing products to redefine world class Finance IT Solutions for the bank.
Be a responsible owner of solution architecture, Technical design and development, Testing Deployment all core products / solutions
Design, build, test and deploy internal solutions and backend services that automate business processes from definition to release
Conduct regular design and code reviews, establishing quality and performance metrics
Must be a champion of Software Engineering and Craftsmanship practices and maintain development practices, writing clean, modular, and self-sustaining code, with repeatable quality and predictability.
Ideal Profile:
9 -12 years of experience developing and delivering robust enterprise products/ applications, using Microsoft tech stack including C#, MVC, WEB API, .NET CORE, SQL SERVER, and Azure DevOps
Hands on experience in AWS centric development.
The candidate must be a hands-on practitioner and a results/delivery-oriented professional with proven ability to work in a high performing engineering team.
Must possess experience working in agile delivery model, particularly scrum.
Experience in AWS with: CICD, containers, Cloud native development, SQL, and NoSQL, Microservices and serverless compute will be highly beneficial for the success pf the role.
Must be a team player capable of working in a team environment with shared goals model and be open to join hands with other stakeholders on need/as per assignment.
Experience in designing and developing high-volume, scalable applications and architectures.
Must be open to work in an environment where the latest tech and legacy components play together and enable/chart the migration to newer stack in an incremental manner
Ability to clearly communicate ideas by adopting tools and techniques appropriate to the audience and nature of technical information.
Must have experience leading/working in a core role for end to end development of at least 2 enterprise class development projects on .NET stack
Experience working with automated monitoring of live production systems / various observability platforms will be a plus.
Experience on front end technologies like Angular / React will be an added advantage.
Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
Contribute to improving the engineering process, pre-empt risks, define &
execute contingency plans.
Consistently demonstrate a sense of accountability for the quality and
completeness of entire solutions/ service.
Technical Skills:
C# .NET, ASP.NET, .NET Framework & .NET Core,
Experience in TDD & End to End / Acceptance Testing methodologies,
SQL Server, TSQL, Entity Framework, similar ORM Tools,
Microservices, REST APIs, Streaming Platforms, ETLs
Experience in cloud native development and CI/CD platforms, Git/BitBucket.
Ability to design, develop and support scalable enterprise applications.
