The FOIT Software Engineering team delivers next-generation software application enhancements and new products for a changing world. As a Software Engineer, you will actively participate in the design, development and validation of software features and products. You will need to successfully deliver customer-facing functionality for well-defined features in a team environment. We don’t work in silos here-you will understand the customer stories and have the opportunity to question and improve upon them.

You will:

• Build highly scalable UI/Web applications that are designed for high performance.
• Provide best practices for UI/UX design & continually improve upon the usability aspects of the web application.
• Work with UX designers to develop a delightful customer experience.
• Work with a diverse team of architects and engineers both within and across product teams to collaboratively build a cohesive architecture
• Possess a strong aptitude for exploring new technologies and understanding, how to apply them to new products, tools, and customer-facing support scenarios.
• Participate actively in design and code reviews.
• Demonstrate excellent collaboration and communication skills as you obtain requirements, build a detailed design, and deliver a high-quality implementation of your software solutions.

Essential Requirements

• 2 – 5 Years of Software Development Experience in enterprise-class web application projects.
• Hands-on experience in developing user interface applications with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience in developing secure and scalable web applications using at least one of the following frameworks/libraries – React/Angular/Vue.
• Hands-on experience in front-end state management libraries like Redux/Flux/MobX.
• Hand-on experience in developing high-performance, reusable code for Web & UI components.

Desirable Requirements

• Experience building applications with micro front-end architecture & Knowledge of dev-ops especially Jenkins, Kubernetes and Docker deployments
• Knowledge of SQL, NoSQL and time-series databases & one or more public cloud platforms (e.g. Microsoft Azure, GCP, AWS)
