Role Description
The IT Application Owner (ITAO) is accountable for the Application Management of a single or a portfolio of applications. An ITAO has to ensure that the application(s) are enhanced and maintained in accordance to the Bank’s IT Security Risk and Compliance requirements of the client and other stakeholders as included in the application strategy and service levels. The ITAO identifies and manages the risks and issues associated with the application(s) and escalate appropriately.

Your key responsibilities
RSA Licensing and Contract
Scoping and planning of release schedule
Maintain JIRA board
Deploy release according to DB SDLC release process – Create release and change request in ServiceNow – Fulfill release and application controls prior to deployment – Monitor SDLC platform
Facilitate Disaster Recovery activities by reviewing DR plans and coordinating the execution of DR exercise for the application.
Manage Internal and external application audits and Audit issue remediation activities.
Manage Technology Roadmap Compliance (TRC)
Manage remediation of gaps in application lifecycle management activities such as Account recertification, remediation of Application configuration gaps, Essential Maintenance, etc
Manage application related Risk and Compliance Evaluation tasks and resolution of gaps in this area.
Perform Log Reviews for Servers, Databases, and Applications.
Manage Application user access related tasks Like maintaining SOD, Timely Recertification, Granting/Modifying/ Revoking access, etc.
Plan for Application Hardware / Software / License upgrades.
Plan and lead migration activities to align to the compliant platforms.
SDLC Onboarding & ensure SDLC release process is adhered
Onboard mandatory Control for Governance, Compliance & Security for Application & its assets as per Banks Standard recommendations, like: Tools/control onboarding for Access Mgt workflow, SDLC, App infra & Security Monitoring, Encryption/masking if applicable, etc
Liaise with TISO for Security Framework, solution implementation, Security Remediation, etc.
Help App/Dev team with Infra Provisioning, Setup if needed, Liaise with Capability teams for any issues and help that Dev team needs.
SPOC for Incidents and issues for Prod and Non prod.
Your skills and experience
Technology Skills: Proven capabilities / competencies in mitigating the Information Security / Application Governance / IT Control etc.
Strong understanding of service delivery and relationship management
Project management, analytical and problem solving skills
Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills
Team player, highly motivated, practical problem solver
Experience in global teams across different time zones and within a matrix environment
Ability to monitor, track and clearly communicate progress, escalate issues when appropriate
Graduate with good academic records
Professional certifications is an added advantage – ISO 27001, CISA, CISM, CRISC etc.

Platform architecture documentation (Runbook)
Platform Administration
Integration with External Systems
Deployment/maintenance of Archer platform environment of all environments (including enabling interface to other systems)
ITAO Delegate/Technical point of contact for RACER- Includes completing assessments for RACER, responding to requests for evidence from audit, responding to/working with other teams for any requests for information or changes to the servers (e.g. NetSeg remediation, right-sizing of virtual servers)”
Compliance and Security Monitoring of RACER Environment
Ownership and recertification of groups in ServiceNow/GRWE/Guardian
