Development Logics Looking for Network Engineer at Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh Full Time

We are an Internet Service Provider (ISP) seeking a skilled Network Engineer with expertise in wireless networks and fibre infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience setting up fiber and wireless networks.

As a Network Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our network infrastructure’s smooth operation and expansion.

Local candidates from the Kangra district will be given preference.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Designing, deploying, and maintaining wireless networks and fibre infrastructure to provide reliable internet services to our customers.
• Setting up fiber networks, performing splicing, and ensuring proper connectivity and signal strength.
• Configuring and optimizing OLTs, ONUs, routers, switches, and other networking equipment.
• Troubleshooting network issues, conducting repairs, and minimizing downtime.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to plan and execute network expansion projects.
• Performing site surveys and network assessments to identify areas for improvement or expansion.
• Monitoring network performance and implementing necessary optimizations.
• Providing technical support to customers and resolving network-related issues.
• Documenting network configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Telecommunications or a related field.
• Must have a two-wheeler with a Driving license
• CCNA/ CCNP or equivalent certified
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer with expertise in wireless networks and fiber infrastructure.
• In-depth knowledge of fiber optics, splicing techniques, and fiber network design principles.
• Strong understanding of wireless networking technologies, protocols, and equipment.
• Hands-on experience with OLTs, ONUs, routers, switches, and other networking devices.
• Proficiency in network monitoring tools and diagnostic utilities.
• Ability to work in the field extensively in Kangra district.
• Flexibility to work odd hours, as required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot network issues efficiently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and customers.

What is nice to have?

• Experience in setting up and configuring Point-to-Point and Point-to-Multipoint wireless links.
• Familiarity with network planning and capacity management.
• Knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
• Certifications in fiber optics, wireless networking, or related fields.
• Local residency in the Kangra district.

Remuneration: Rs 12,000 to 18,000 per month, Petrol Allowance and Incentives
