POSITION:
IT Site Reliability Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Document design specifications, installation instructions, and other system-related information.
• Collaborate with engineers or software developers to select appropriate design solutions or ensure the compatibility of system components.
• Automation as the core of everything you do.
• Deploy application code in multiple environments and data centers.
• Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments including hardware, systems software, applications software, and configurations.
• Help design ‘self-healing’ solutions to ensure the stability and security of our services
• Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, or network and system problems. Replace defective components when necessary.
• Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and to coordinate computer network access and use.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work across multiple functions and collaborate within a team environment.
• Innovative and can solve problems with unconventional techniques. Strong ability to think outside of the box.
• Take part in on-call rotation shared with other team member in a follow the sun rotation.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 5+ years of experience in IT or Development Operations related roles
• Practical experience with Deployment Tools: SaltStack or related.
• Practical experience with containerization technologies: Kubernetes, Docker
• Practical experience with Linux administration. We are looking for someone that is fluent in working in a Linux environment.
• Practical experience with multiple programming languages, and scripting
• Experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Administration is a plus.
