DP World Hiring For Senior Executive – Civil Engineering – Rail & Inland Terminals – Ahmedabad at Ahmedabad Full Time

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Observe the provisions of MICT’s management system.
2. Contribute to the continuous improvement process and to the meeting of relevant objectives and targets.
3. Undertake all tasks and responsibilities assigned by the HOD/ Asst Manager.
4. Allocate manpower for Planned Maintenance and repair jobs.
5. Ensure safe working practices are followed by staff and contractors in the shift.
6. Update the Planned Maintenance repair for all jobs done.
7. Keep record of all civil related inventories.
8. Upkeeping of all infrastructure including Rail at Terminal, CFS and Township
9. Assist in requisitioning of spares and consumables.
10. To comply with all aspects of MICT’s Quality, Health, Safety, Environment and Supply chain security management systems. Adhere to IT security.
11. Maintenance of Infrastructure: (Wharf, Yard, STP, CFS, ICD), Admin Buildings, Workshop.
12. Execution of new facility
13. Enhance the awareness of safety requirements to contractors and implementation of safety norms in civil contractors & ensure no incidents.
14. Allocate jobs as per the work planned out by the Assistant managers.
15. Maintain repair records for the shift.
16. Follow up with Contractors/Consultants/Purchase Team for speeding up major / critical repair rectification jobs.
17. Verify and measure job reports submitted by contractors.
18. Issue work permits as needed.
19. Adhere to Our Principles (Founders Principles) and LEAN
20. Adhere to DPWs Information security/ Security Compliance/ Confidentiality of information/ Global and MICT safety requirements and policies.

Qualification & Competencies

• B. E. / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Graduate: 9 years or Diploma: 11 years experience in the maintenance of heavy lifting equipment’s.
