We are looking for a System Administrator to maintain, upgrade and manage our software, hardware and networks.
Key Responsibilities:
The candidate will be performing Windows and Linux administrative tasks
Coordinate with the HR, Finance and Delivery teams regarding the procurement of systems for the new joiners
Set up accounts and workstations
Update and maintain the Asset Management process on the HRMS tool
Provide technical support for both hardware and software issues, our users encounter
Manage the configuration and operation of client-based Computer Operating Systems
Monitor the systems and respond immediately to security or usability concerns
Upgrade systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality and security issue resolution
Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software and other processes
Defining and adhering to Access Controls, Security Policies
Understands, documents, and supports the underlying business processes, workflows, data and application platforms that depend on Microsoft services
Upgrade systems with new releases and models Take care of Real-time problem diagnosis/resolution on live systems
Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies
Key Skills Required:
BSc/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline
Candidate should have 3 to 7 years of experience in a system administrator role
Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch management
Knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
Excellent communication skills
Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels
Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
