Job Responsibilities
Requirement Gathering and Analysis:
Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify cloud-related requirements and understand their needs.
Conduct thorough analysis of existing business processes and systems to identify opportunities for cloud adoption and improvement.
Define and document business requirements, use cases, and user stories related to cloud initiatives.
Cloud Strategy and Planning:
Work closely with the IT and management teams to develop cloud strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Evaluate cloud service providers and technologies to identify the most suitable solutions for specific business needs.
Create implementation plans and roadmaps for cloud migration and adoption projects.
Cloud Solution Design and Evaluation:
Collaborate with architects and technical teams to design cloud solutions that align with business requirements and industry best practices.
Evaluate the technical feasibility and risks associated with cloud solutions, considering factors such as security, scalability, and cost-effectiveness.
Conduct cost-benefit analysis and provide recommendations for cloud technologies and services.
Project Management and Collaboration:
Coordinate and facilitate communication between business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors during cloud implementation projects.
Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project delivery.
Cloud Performance and Optimization:
Monitor and analyze cloud resource usage, performance metrics, and service-level agreements (SLAs) to identify areas for optimization.
Provide recommendations for improving cloud resource allocation, cost optimization, and performance enhancement.
Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in cloud technologies and assess their potential impact on the business.
Skill Sets and qualifications required:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Proven experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, with a focus on cloud technologies.
In-depth understanding of cloud computing concepts, architectures, and services (e.g., IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Proficiency in requirement gathering techniques, process modeling, and use case development.
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Familiarity with cloud security, compliance, and data privacy best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Project management experience and knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Relevant certifications such as Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) or Certified Cloud Practitioner (CCP) are a plus.
