1.Initiate the technical offer based on the received request for Quotation considering the most adaptive technical solution and the most optimized competitive offer based on technical expertise.
2.Maintain, demonstrate and expand a high level of expertise in product knowledge and specification interpretation of Electrical low and medium voltage assemblies with their respective devices and all other Eaton products as they pertain to project business.
3.Recognize and anticipate missing data from price quote exception requests and obtain required information to assure on going management visibility of pricing activities and the ability to evaluate integrity of the pricing and discontinued processes
4.Demonstrate a strong sense of initiative and organic thought in Electrical product application and value added engineering opportunities to maximize profitability and optimized offering
5.Serve as cross-functional (front end & back end) support for technical clarifications (Comply, Deviate, Except statements). Build and maintain database based on these findings for efficiency and knowledge sharing purposes.
6.Develop a command of features, benefits and pricing standards to improve efficiency and reduce the turnaround time in supporting our sales with technical and commercial offerings
7.Evaluate historical data, competitive information and product features to develop customer/product specific pricing
8.Responsible for addressing technical queries from team, conduct KSS and enhance team technical competence
9. Should be able to maintain and review teams daily, weekly, monthly performance and generate insights and improvement plans ”
Qualifications:
Graduate in Engineering (Electrical / Electronics).
Minimum 6-8 years of experience in Switchgear estimation/quotation
Skills:
1.Application knowledge of MV and LV electrical equipment (switchgears, MCCs, ATS, Network protection, power generation and controls preferred)
2.Build a comply, deviate & exclude specification library. (Product and Market Specific)
3.Build and maintain a Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) technical library
4.Meet the Service Level Agreement (SLA) expectations with regards to output and turnaround time
5.Build and maintain pricing typical database
6.Improving the quality of our technical offer to the customers
7.Strong Microsoft office and data analysis skills
8.SIX SIGMA and OPEX/CI knowledge is desirable”
