This exciting role is part of a our IT team in a large multi-national company. The role offers a broad variety of responsibilities including great learning opportunities.

The position requires a highly technical professional who will be part of Global O365 Platform organization and has in-depth knowledge of entire O365 suits of applications.

This role is responsible for processes, standards, governance and performance of the O365 platform.

This includes identifying processes and procedures required to properly monitor, maintain, upgrade or troubleshoot our O365 and Exchange environments (online & on premise).

The primary responsibility of this role requires alignment and participation on enterprise wide projects as well as managing incidents and requests via IT ticketing system.

This position is also responsible for providing inputs to design standards, roadmaps and leads the team through critical issue resolutions and training. The position will identify technology trends and make recommendations for improvement to the overall system design and support model while expected to work closely with management team.

Ability to provide Solution Design, Service and Support across Eaton Corporation Enterprise O365 platform including Global Administration, Tenant Management, Active Directory, Azure Cloud Connect, Exchange Online, OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams.

Provides input as a subject matter expert to platform and system design, development, and implementation

Leads overall effort and works with resources across functions to deliver technology platform, and system solutions to meet customer requirements, providing solution options, making recommendation, and highlighting operational or security risks, as well as providing alternative options

Defines standards for technologies, platforms, and systems to meet organization requirements

Leads lifecycle management activities for technology, platform, systems, and related documentation to ensure operational health and security.

Monitors technology, platform, and systems to ensure required performance, availability, and capacity. Identifies and eliminates gaps in monitoring and potential impact on service delivery.

Follows industry best practices to maximize quality and efficiency

Consistently utilize key ITIL processes to solve complex cross platform infrastructure issues with in-depth troubleshooting approach and provide most feasible options and recommend best solutions to specified problem including RCA.

Lead and performs all aspects of O365 Global Tenant and Exchange adminstration, security, performance-monitoring, tuning, scripting, roles/access and maintenance of all production systems

Responsible to respond to incidents and requests where clients are having issues with O365 Platform, Licensing, Teams, Exchange Online, Exchange on premise following ITIL (as required).

Provide thought leadership and hands on support to the governance process, release management, peer reviews, and promote standards across our technical teams. Participate in projects to evolve or implement the new features of the O365 platform.

Collaborate with other technical experts in O365 and Unified Communications space to determine standards, governance, admistrative controls and policies to make Eaton’s O365 platform secure.

Works on complex problems where analysis of situations requires in-depth root cause analysis and troubleshooting skills.

Identify, research, and keep apprised of emerging cloud technologies, solutions, strategies, and developments with the goal of identifying opportunities for their use.

Introduce industry relevant best practices and improvement opportunities to improve efficiency and proficency of team. This also includes the responsibility to train new team members that join our team.

Acts as a focal point for organizing a technical team to drive resolution to a complex problem and communicating status as needed.

Engage with vendors to understand technology trends and impact on our environment and provide feedback to appropriate stakeholders including management.

Generate clear and concise documentation in the form of Knowledge Base (KB), process documents, Engineering Standards, FAQ, technical tips etc. Also establish processes and documentation for End Users, Service Desk and other support groups as needed

Ability to work effectively with and provide guidance to other members of the team.

Qualifications

Requirement:
Bachelors degree holder from an accredited institution

Minimum 7 years of experience in Microsoft Technology domain including O365/Exchange

Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT

Proven experience of Microsoft O365 suits of applications including Teams, Exchange, OneDrive, SharePoint etc.

Knowledge of Exchange 2016/2019 including Public Folder.

Extensive knowledge of Active Directory including Azure AD and AD Connect

Experience with end point management & security using ActiveSync, InTune, WorkspaceOne.

Experience in Office 365 tenant management and configuration

Experience with Office 365 policy, security and license management, preferably E5.

Experience with Microsoft Teams global administration, 3rd party app integrations, dashboarding etc.

Advanced knowledge of Powershell.

Experience with device management.

Microsoft 365 Certified Enterprise Administrator expert certification preferred

Excellent proficiency with the English language (written and verbal). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Advanced in interpreting, explaining and advising on complex information to stakeholders.

Advanced in thinking and acting strategically to deliver results that impact beyond the immediate work area to achieve annual results.
