This role is responsible for assisting Sr. AD -IT in running the IT Ops. This role requires the Manager Ops to manage the Tech support team spread across multiple countries who is responsible to provide tier-1 & 2 tech support to Emeritus/Eruditus users.
Responsibilities
Maintain and optimize local company networks and servers
Assist in executing the IT Infrastructure & Operation team’s departmental plans, allocating team resources to complete deliverables
Manage installations, upgrades, and configurations of hardware and software
Manage IT infra –Network Firewall, Storage, Servers, Cloud Infra & data backup
Manage Email Solution –Office365, Endpoint Management, Endpoint Security & applications like SAP
Assess system performance and recommend improvements
Resolve issues escalated by technicians and engineers
Provide support and guidance to stakeholders via the help desk
Control costs and budgets regarding IT systems
Manage contracts with vendors and software licenses
Develop IT policies and practices
Inspect the performance of the system and give suggestions for improvement, if any.
Ensure that all the data handling, processing, and transferring operations adhere to the company as well as the legal guidelines.
Supervise the reporting, auditing, and planning operations.
Manage the IT Helpdesk team performance, KRAs & Scheduling
Preferred Qualifications & Skills Required
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field
ITIL Foundation Certified
MCSA Certified
7-10 years of total experience in IT Operations Leading IT Service Desk or Technical Support Teams.
Demonstrated success building and leading teams
Leading development life cycle processes and best practices, esp. in the areas of automation and monitoring
Developing, mentoring, and training systems engineers
Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work successfully with teams across the organization
Ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision and keep up with a fast-moving environment via effective prioritization and time management.
Responsible for the professional development and skill enhancement of the team
