Position Description and Responsibilities
As a Senior Manager, the incumbent will be responsible to p rovide direction and manage a dynamic IT Recruitment team of 4 – 6 members
Talent Acquisition
Process Related
Create and implement continuous improvements in Talent Acquisition strategy / process
Align with the global Talent Acquisition practices of Emerson
Plan and drive recruitment process based on business requirements; includes sourcing and screening candidates, managing end-to-end recruitment process through the onboarding stage
Coordinate with Oracle Recruit, LinkedIn, Naukri & Indeed teams for ensuring smooth process flow
Drive the Campus strategy in partnership with various educational institutes to facilitate hiring of Engineering Graduates as Interns and MBA candidates as Management Trainees
Promote Internal Job Postings and referrals
Leverage technology and ensure automation to make the hiring process more efficient and seamless experience for candidates and business
Metrics & Reporting
Proactively work in data analytics & market research, s tay ahead of market, and interpret technology trends, provide meaningful insights to the team for acquiring right talent
Defining and driving team to meet and exceed hiring metrics relating to lead time, cost, diversity, quality, candidate and hiring manager experience
Stakeholder Management
Partner with Business leaders and hiring managers in the selection process and provide key metrics and analysis to stakeholders
Collaborate closely with hiring managers in recruiting planning meetings to understand technical requirements and provide status updates on recruitment needs
Manage vendor relationships and position the job opportunities to attract best talent both externally and internally
Coordinate and collaborate with other Emerson entities for best practices sharing and learning
Talent Retention
Track employee attrition and analyse reasons for resignations and exits
Connect with resigned employees to explore possibilities of retention
Conduct proactive stay interviews and highlight potential concerns within teams
Evaluate data received from exit interview vendor
Facilitate valuable conversations with performance Improvement cases
Maintain retention metrics, help implement organization’s retention strategies
Qualifications and Requirements
Post-Graduation / Certification in Human Resources Management from a reputed institute
12-15 years of relevant HR experience in managing IT Talent Acquisition roles
5+ years of experience in managing a dynamic team of HR individuals
Experience of working in matrix, multinational IT organization structure. Shared service / captive center experience is preferred
Knowledge of HR systems like HCM, Oracle Recruit Cloud/Taleo
Extensive experience in recruitment operations with solid knowledge in Tracking Systems, recruitment tools, and various external sourcing channels like LinkedIn/Naukri
Vendor management & documentation experience
Strong experience designing and implementing various talent acquisition-related strategies and programs
Ability to influence stakeholders positively in taking data-based decisions of hiring
Proficient in competency based interviewing techniques
Hands-on experience in maintaining & enhancing University Relations
Strong written and verbal communication skills, and people management skills
Expertise in MS Office tools
