Job Overview:
· We are searching for an innovative IT Developement lead to join our company. As the technical lead, you will oversee the company’s technical team and all projects they undertake, analyse briefs, write progress reports, identify risks, and develop work schedules. You need to set and maintain visions for development teams, make sure developers have the environment, and support they need, and work alongside developers, responsible for the team’s code quality measures and that the team’s technical standards are being upheld.
· You should be able to work with your team and inspire them to reach their goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Determining project requirements and developing work schedules for the team.
· Delegating tasks and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
· Liaising with team members, management, and clients to ensure projects are completed to standard.
· Identifying risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible.
· Analysing existing operations and scheduling training sessions and meetings to discuss improvements.
· Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and latest technologies.
· Updating work schedules and performing troubleshooting as required.
· Motivating staff and creating a space where they can ask questions and voice their concerns.
· Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes.
· Predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
· Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
· Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
· Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
· Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
· Perform risk management to minimize project risks
· Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Skills / Attributes Required:
· Minimum 7+ years of experience in IT industry and 4 to 5 years direct hands on work experience in technical and 2 to 3 years in managing team.
· Bachelor’s or higher degree in computer science, engineering, or an IT field
· Knowledge of some or all of the following technologies: C#, ASP.NET(MVC), JavaScript, Jquery, Angular, Node, HTML/DHTML, XML, T-SQL, SQL Server, MySQL
· Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
· Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
· Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
· Experience in Agile teams
· Proven leadership skills
· Experience seeing projects through the full life cycle
· Excellent analytical skills
· Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget, and timeline
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
· Strong familiarity with project management software tools ProjectManager.com, JIRA, TRELLO etc., and best practices
