About the role
As an IT Support Engineer, you will deliver contractual service requirements to fix both hardware and software issues as reported by the customer within SLA. Covering 3-shift working hours pattern 6-days a week and subject to, only if required, standby shift pattern as defined by your line manager, supervisor or team leader to ensure appropriate cover is available at all times to meet the customer’s requirements.
You will perform day to day IT/Production machine and system related support at customer, taking the data backup, coordinate with site team for existing backup details, perform imaging of the system to secure existing operational image, verify if the image is good for restoration and checking if the system is operational or not.
About you
Experience in supporting production machines and system is required
Experience in SCADA system and working at Pharmaceutical production plant is an advantage
IT- All-rounder, who is familiar with a broad range of technologies including production machine
Good knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems starting from Windows XP to Windows 10.
Shall be able to follow defined scheduled and adhere timelines.
Shall be able to image, re-image systems.
Shall be able to recover systems from any breakdown happened during remediation activity.
Strong technical structuring skills: If the system structure is unknown, the IT Engineer can break it down quickly
Shall be able to communicate with business, site IT and GIDC team in English and local site language.
Good knowledge and experience in online ticketing system such as ServiceNow
Can work independently
Must be open to work Monday to Saturday and rotating shift schedule
