What You’ll Be Doing:
Position summary
Evolent Health is looking for an IT Process Analyst to be a key member of the Enterprise IT Services team. This person will play an important role providing evaluation and oversight of all Evolent end-to-end audit processes, positioning Enterprise IT & Infrastructure to be successful with all audits. The IT Process Analyst will develop new processes, document existing processes, or improve existing processes, where requested. Successful candidate will develop and maintain training materials and procedure documents and deliver training as needed.
The position requires strong organizational and communication skills, including expert process writing skills and experience with continuous process improvement. The IT Process Analyst will be responsible for establishing a repeatable system of audit and compliance support. The successful candidate must be collaborative, analytical, operationally-minded, and detail-oriented.
Essential functions
Gain a thorough understanding of all systems and controls in scope for Enterprise IT & Infrastructure
Provide administrative support of audit requirements by tracking responses to completion for audit requests; ensure timely responses and submissions (SOX, SOC, SOC 2, HITRUST)
Support assessment requests from clients and partners that are related to IT systems and controls
Establish a process for annual review and update to team procedures
Understand how Infrastructure changes impact policies and procedures and facilitate maintenance updates to policies, procedures, and evidence
Assist with the creation of a governance process to position the teams for success and long-term growth
Support the policy development and annual review process
Assist with the development of a Framework for maintaining centralized/searchable content
Other special continuous process improvement projects as assigned by leadership
Required
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with technical business process analysis and process development
Minimum 3 years of practical experience with documentation and training of procedures
Experience with IT audit and compliance governance
Strong written and verbal communications skills
Demonstrated willingness to learn and adapt quickly while working in a dynamic environment
Ability to manage small to medium projects and prioritize tasks
Excellent skills with MS Office suite of tools, including Excel and SharePoint
Ability to work independently, and as a team member, while using discretion in decision making and problem solving
Collaborative working style with the ability to work across different organizations and with all levels
Willing to work in 2:30 pm to 11:30 pm shift permanently
Nice to have
Experience with Jira and Confluence a plus
Experience with HITRUST, SOC and Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) audit controls
Experience working in a Healthcare setting with a working understanding of HIPAA, PHI, and PII
Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Computer Science
