We are looking for a SQL developer who will be responsible for designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance. You will also work with other developers optimizing in-application SQL statements as necessary, and establishing best practices. You will help solve all database usage issues and come up with ideas and advice that can help avoid such problems in the future.

Responsibilities

Create a Database and normalize the database into small tables by applying rules of Normalization, defined Check Constraint and applied Business Rules.

Well versed with the

DDL

and

DML

statements

Help write and optimize in-application SQL statements

Creating and maintaining complex

stored procedures

System SP

Triggers

,

views

,

Tables

, user defined functions,

DBCC commands

.

Create

indexes

and analyse its role for

optimizations

Develop Dynamic search queries and results with manipulated data.

Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases

Prepare documentations and specifications

Handle common database procedures such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.

Implement SQL Logins, Roles and Authentication Modes as a part of Security Policies for various Categories of users.

Create Linked server and running distributed queries to access data from other remote servers.

Follow the Microsoft recommended best practices in designing, developing, and implementation and testing of the

ETL

using

SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)

, including upgrading

DTS

to

SSIS.

Prepare different types of reports using

SSRS

.

Skills & Qualifications

Degree in one of the following subject areas: Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field preferred

Good experience of IT industry with strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices

2 – 4 years Microsoft SQL Server experience (2008 / 2012 / 2014)

Understanding of, and experience with, server-client computing and relational database environments

Experience with data management and data processing flowcharting techniques

Knowledge of reporting and query tools and practices

Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language

Self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail

Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment

Should have good working experienece in SQL ( SSMS), Queries, SP, Extract requirments from SP/QUERIES.

MS Office ( word, xlsx, ppt, viso..etc)
