IT Risk Management Process/Tool Analyst

Client Technology (CT) – focuses on developing new technology services for our clients. It enables EY to identify new technology-based opportunities faster and pursue those opportunities more rapidly.

Enterprise Workplace Technology (EWT) – EWT supports our Core Business Services functions and will deliver fit-for-purpose technology infrastructure at the cheapest possible cost for quality services. EWT will also support our internal technology needs by focusing on a better user experience. ET

Information Security (Info Sec) – Info Sec prevents, detects, responds and mitigates cyber-risk, protecting EY and client data, and our information management systems.

The opportunity

The IT Risk Management Process/Tool Analyst will help develop new operational capabilities for the IT Risk Management function by providing critical processing of web proxy filtering exceptions requests and analysis of their supporting business cases. This individual is a key contributor in the IT Risk Management function who enables a critical service to EY.

Your key responsibilities

This individual will be responsible for processing web proxy filtering exception requests to enable and/or disable access to pre-defined web site categories based on specific business case requirements. In this role, you will manage a ServiceNow queue of requests along with one or two other individuals located in other regions to provide a “follow-the-sun” support model.

Skills and attributes for success

• Problem-solver with the ability to think creatively
• Solid understanding of ServiceNow service management
• Understanding of IT Support Processes and best practices
• Ability to work independently as well as within a team and to collaborate with various teams like Compliance and Security Technology Services
• Flexibility and a good sense of work/life balance

To qualify for the role you must have

• Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in IT Operations in a related role, with tangible, relevant, and demonstrated operation experience with ServiceNow requests management –
• Experience with IT Operations

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Risk Management experience
• Active Directory experience a plus
• Knowledge of ITIL processes
• Experience with Web Proxy Filtering
