SCS teams and services
Supply Chain Services provide strategic purchasing and business solutions for EY across numerous products and services, with a focus on six areas of expertise:
Procurement & Supplier Ecosystem Services (PSES): Drives greater efficiencies and synergies among two critical spend areas to better deliver market insights, quality services and long-term value for our stakeholders. maximizes the value of our most strategic supplier relationships via a consistent supplier management approach, best practices and supporting technologies. PSES incorporates two specialist streams.
Technology Sourcing concentrates on application and infrastructure software, professional and managed services, application development, hardware, telecommunications, and external content.
Talent and BMC Procurement manages sourcing activities related to the categories of Automotive, Health and Insurance, Human Capital (spanning recruitment and external workforce), Learning and Development, Employee Rewards and Benefits, as well as Brand, Marketing and Communication that includes Media Buying, Digital Marketing and Public Relations.
Travel, Meetings & Events Services: Provides travel solutions that support the mobility of our people, enabling engagement with our clients and internal teams, and enhancing the culture and shared values while minimizing the organization’s total travel costs.
Real Estate and Workplace Services (WPS): Manages occupancy expenses comprised of building rent and operating expenses, interior design, facilities management, construction, office furnishings and the associated amortizations and depreciation.
Business Management Office: Supports key operational strategies across our function, such as our talent, engagement and messaging strategies, business intelligence and reporting, our Source to Pay (S2P) program and management of EY’s Global Procurement Policy.
Environmental Social Governance Services (ESGS): Drives supplier diversity globally for EY by creating a distinctive environment for diverse entrepreneurs to develop innovative solutions and strategies for EY and our clients. In addition, ESGS drives a mindset of sustainability across all our procurement categories and sourcing events to support the EY global sustainability goals.

To manage a portfolio of Global Technology Professional Services suppliers (Application development and Support). The ecosystem includes about 2,500 resources, delivering from about 10 countries to a range of high-end EY Technology solutions across 100+ project engagements
To provide supplier and contract oversight and identify opportunities to drive value and minimise risk

Your key responsibilities
Manage Performance
Encourage and guide Suppliers in excelling ecosystem benchmarks, thought leadership and continuous improvements
Manage Supplier delivery performance working closely with project delivery teams. Supplier service is predominantly agile based project delivery
Manage Supplier demand fulfilment performance
Manage Supplier on alignment to EY’s commercial objective
Support procurement and contract discussions, including defining underpinning contract requirements, performance criteria, milestone plans, commitments, and deliverables
Be able to advise on contracting (commercial models, SLAs, KPIs, location strategy), as required
Manage Contract Obligation tracking and reporting, leveraging on the state-of-the-art contract management tool and SES enablement/PMO team
Manage Finance related obligations and levers including discounts, service credits, earn backs, etc
Manage Relationship
Responsible for overall relationship of assigned Suppliers across EY Technology including management and reporting on Supplier performance
Consolidates, monitors, and measures overall performance of the Suppliers across the entire Supplier relationship through definition and execution of process for evaluating the Supplier(s) against planned measures
Chairs monthly and quarterly governance meetings with Suppliers, Business/EY program directors, EY sponsors, procurement team and other key stakeholders to proactively understand and track Supplier performance at each engagement level
Run Customer Satisfaction surveys, process results and drive methodological performance reporting and improvements
Manages escalations and issues with suppliers and internal stakeholders. Instigate and ensure the execution of improvement and Get to Green plans
Support in the maturity of the strategic Supplier Management vision, charter, objectives, program, and value metrics
Publish monthly relationship scorecard based on feedback from a wide customer base across multiple key projects and engagements across various technology towers and service lines within EY
Determine SMART key performance indicators representative of the overall status of the supplier relationship
Enable Suppliers
Accountable for integration of the Supplier(s) into EY processes and support dependencies between other organizations/Suppliers
Collaborate with wider operational support functions across Technology, Finance, SCS and PSES enablement function

To qualify for the role, you must have
IT Supplier Relationship Manager/ Vendor Manager experience
Exposure to managing projects, programs, and full awareness of project methodologies
Awareness of project management systems, tools, and quality management system
Experience in Methodological Performance Management and driving continuous improvements
Strong Commercial awareness including commercial models, SLAs, KPIs, earn backs, multipliers, ratchets etc (project delivery related)
Strong Contract risk management and to work with internal teams to craft tactics and strategies for risk mitigation
Ideally, you’ll also have
Experience of managing large ($10m+), long term contractual relationships
Understanding of supplier management
Awareness of Enterprise quality management system, metrics will be an advantage
Experience in IT Supplier management of Annuity / Managed services contract
