Position Purpose:
As Change and implementation Engineer you will be part of a supportive and flexible environment that encourages thinking outside the box. Working with other members of the Technical Operations team, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, deployment and maintenance of PKS – Kubernetes Web Services environments and application builds .The ideal candidate will have knowledge on change process, deployment and maintenance activities in PKS cloud infrastructure.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
Accountable for deployment and onboarding activities across environments .

Knowledge on change creation and approval process.

Understand the impact of changes across the application.

Attending CAB calls to get change approvals.

Build and optimize SQL queries in order to run on large databases efficiently.

Install, configure and maintain PKS – Kubernetes Web Services environments.

Maintaining artifacts in Git Hub.

Performing deployments using applications like Jenkins and Harness.

Participate in application performance testing during deployments

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related fields.

2+ years working with Web Services based architectures (REST APIs)

Experience working with PKS – Kubernetes or Cloud based environments

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education

Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or similar.

Knowledge of CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery) process, Agile methodologies, experience with Jenkins, Concourse, Git and middleware technologies is a plus

Strong knowledge on creating change, approval and deployment process

Sound understanding of ITIL standard methodologies, ITIL Foundations certification or higher, is a plus

Previous experience using Dynatrace APM tool.

Previous experience developing REST API services.

Fintech market experience.

Automation and scripting proficiency (SQL Optimization, scheduled jobs, Splunk)

Ability to multi-task demonstrating flexibility to easily adapt to changing business priorities.

Excellent communication skills, leading meetings and troubleshooting sessions.
