Job Summary

The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company’s information technology projects and infrastructure. This includes ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of IT systems and managing a team of IT professionals. The role involves strategic

planning, project management, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• IT Infrastructure Management:
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems, servers, and networks.
• Conduct regular system audits and ensure system and network security.
• Team Leadership:
• Manage and mentor the IT team, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
• Assign tasks and projects to team members and monitor progress.
• Project Management:
• Plan, execute, and oversee IT projects from inception to completion.
• Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Strategic Planning:
• Develop and implement IT strategies that align with business goals.
• Evaluate and recommend technological solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Support and Troubleshooting:
• Provide technical support and resolve IT-related issues for staff and clients.
• Implement and manage disaster recovery plans.
• Vendor Management:
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for IT-related purchases and services.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and manage vendor contracts.
• Policy Development:
• Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure data security and compliance with industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT management or a related role.
• Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure and services.
• Skills and Abilities:
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and security.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Proficient in project management and IT budgeting.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Certifications:
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) are preferred.
