To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Consultant – IT located in Chennai / Pune.
What a typical day looks like:
Position is responsible for the Flex Information & Data Protection Assessments
(FISDPA) of current and potential Vendors whose solutions will hold/currently hold Personal Data of our employees, agency employees, customers, contractors, etc. and whose IT Architecture and Systems need to meet or exceed pre-defined IT Security Requirements.
Responsible for FISDPAs regarding implemented Policies, Processes, Controls and Systems deployed at or used by Flex based on current or potential Customers´ Requests as a part of a Self-Assessment or Customer Audit Assistance.
Work with IT Security and the Data Privacy Organization to review the Compliance of a System with the IT Security and Data Privacy Policies and Requirements as established by our IT Security Policies and Standard Operating Procedures as well as our DP Policies and Binding Corporate Rules. This includes evaluating our Policies, System Architecture, Security Systems, Roles and Administration, Training and Communication Programs for system employees, etc.,
Meeting with the Vendor to discuss their Systems, and to further review the system based on findings and interviews with Customers, Vendors, IT Management, Subject Matter Experts, Internal and External Auditors, etc.
Provide Final Reports and List of Observations to the Chief Information Security Officer and the Chief Data Protection Officer for Review and Decision on whether System is approved, denied, or Additional Work is required.
Partner with System Owners / Vendors on addressing Gaps and Corrective Action Plans (CAP). Responsible for assessing if CARs are feasible and adequate long-term solutions for addressing the gaps.
Meet with Project / Application Owner(s) and Procurement to ensure Engagement at the time of Short Listing of Potential Vendors.
Help project owners working with current vendors to gain the buy-in on the FISDPA activities.
Training and communication internally on the FISDPA, engagement with various Functional Areas including IT, HR, Finance, Legal and Procurement to ensure a Balanced Assessment Approach.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
Minimum 2-6 years of relevant experience
Bachelor degree in Science or Technology or Engineering or Mathematics
Strong English Skills: written and oral
Communication and Negotiation Skills
Broad Medium-Level IT Knowledge and Experience
Advanced User of MS Office
Profound Understanding about Data Privacy in a Local as well as Global Context (preferable)
Good Attitude
Process Documentation
Audit Basics
