Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, ETL Full stack Developer

.In this role, you would be responsible for providing Enhancement & Development services in a Java/Database environment.

.You would be responsible for creating, testing, and maintaining Java applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.

Responsibilities

.Identifies emerging issues and trends to inform decision-making.

.Leads and implements initiatives as required to deliver business objectives.

.Conducts independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues.

.Builds effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders and ensures alignment.

.Monitors and tracks performance and addresses any issues.

.Leads/conducts detailed code-reviews and provides feedback in a constructive manner. Decomposes business requirements and translates them into detailed design specifications and code.

.Interacts with key business & technology stakeholders to define, analyze, and deliver requirements that reflect the needs of both the business and end-customers.

.Assesses the costs and benefits for different solutions and recommend/decide on appropriate designs.

.Designs solutions, writes code, performs unit testing, develops appropriate artefacts / documentation, and facilitates final delivery.

.Supports production issues, includes independently completing root-cause analysis and diagnosis.

.Devises new algorithms and data structures for target environment and platform attributes in alignment with architectural patterns.

Minimum Qualifications

.BE/B Tech/MCA/MBA

.Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

.S3, EC2 and other basic services,Java, Python,Scala,Hadoop, Spark, HBase, Kafka, Elasticsearch

.Experience in Oracle PL/SQL programming

.Good in Oracle performance tuning, using Oracle 12c

.Experienced in Unix shell scripting

.Have an exposure to Big Data framework (HDFS) along with an exposure to Informatica ETL

.Exposure to SDLC tools, such as: JIRA, Confluence, SVN, TeamCity, Jenkins, Nolio, and Crucible.

.Experience on DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile methodology.

.Possess general knowledge of Credit and Market Risk Management in Investment Banking

.Excellent inter-personnel skills and experience working with Client/Vendor model.

.Have good interpersonal skills and communication skills both verbal and written

.Great teammate and have the ability to multi-task as well as are tolerant to change

.Possess experience of application development & database performance tuning experience, preferably in a large corporation with a demonstrated ability to navigate large, complex organizations to get work done.

.High level of integrity, sense of urgency, attention to detail and quality standards

.Strong proficiency with Sqlserver and its variation among popular databases Design stable, reliable and effective database

.Able to quickly understand an existing landscape of huge database with large numbers of stored procedures, triggers, jobs and multiple upstream / downstream data flows with different applications.

.Skilled at writing, editing large, complicated SQL statements

.Knowledge of standard methodologies when dealing with relational databases

.An ability to understand front-end users requirements and a problem-solving attitude

.Knowledge on Control-M Job configuration and scheduling File transfer mechanisms

.Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as SVN merging and creating production scripts

.Sqlserver DB coding, DB scheduling tools, File transfer mechanisms, DB Devops
