Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant – IT Infrastructure Senior Plan Analyst
Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver business value through reliable, effective, and efficient IT infrastructure analysis and planning.
Ensure efficient service delivery planning through Demand and Requirement management, Asset Lifecycle planning and long-term capacity management activities, while ensuring further development of Infrastructure, Operations and Services (IOS) governance processes and frameworks.
Scope:
Global IT Infrastructure, Operations and services; role in hybrid global work team with multitude of parallel activities
Core Duties and Responsibilities
Demand and Requirements management:
Consolidation and maintenance of IOS roadmap / 3-year plan and High Level IOS Capacity Management – anticipating long-term IOS capacity requirements and shortfalls (skills and infrastructure/services).
Onboard and register demands from BRMs, ITTO or from inside IOS.
Interact with demand owners, gather information required to complete the assessment/evaluation.
Qualify, assess and scope demand leveraging IOS and Global IT SMEs
Ensure approval and clear handover to project manager
Asset Lifecycle planning:
Asset standards definition leveraging IOS and Global IT SMEs
Asset lifecycle calendar and roadmap (Standards, EOL/EOS Maintenance Calendars..) – ensuring all required activities and timelines are known, anticipated and followed through.
Infrastructure financial monitoring, control and reporting
IOS processes and frameworks:
Ensure frameworks are known, formalized, fit for purpose and adapted to IOS, are properly documented
Monitor and measure compliance
Drive continuous improvement and ensure alignment with Global processes and Operating Model
IOS Plan Management
Anticipate & Analyze client needs, market & tech trends. New product identification / design.
Deputize the IOS Plan manager
Key Relationships (internal and external):
IT Operations and Support organization (IOS, global/regional/local)
Mixed Project teams (including IT, IT-vendors and partners, Business unit stakeholders of different seniority levels)
Security Team
Solution Teams
Qualification
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in business information systems (IS), computer science or related field, or equivalent-related IT experience.
Demonstrated Business Analysis competence
Project Manager certification in classic methods like PMP/Prince2 strong plus
Additional skills in agile ways of working is a plus
Traditional Framework certification, such as ITIL, is a plus
