To continue the growth and success of this fast-growing organization, we are looking for ‘General Manager, Principal Consultant and Manager – Business Development’ with the experience, capability, and talent to lead the Sales and Marketing portfolio.
As an integral member of the Management Team, the ideal candidate will be an accomplished, highly skilled leadership professional with strong experience in the domestic (India) market.
The primary objective will be to design and lead the Sales and Marketing function. This will include identifying and implementing innovative sales and marketing strategies, product/services, and business development within a greenfield environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.
· Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
· Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
· Examines risks and potentials for the business opportunities.
· Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
· Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
· Maintain an up to date understanding of competitor knowledge, contemporary practices, and market opportunities.
· Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices etc.
· Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
· Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
· Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
· Develop entry level staff into valuable salespeople.
Skills & Experience required
8+ years’ experience in Sales/Business Development in IT Software/ITES domain, out of which minimum 5 Years of managerial experience in the IT Network Hardware/Services sales with Govt./PSU sector. Experience in Online Bidding (GeM).
MUST HAVE 3+ years of experience as a business development manager or a relevant role in Enterprise Network Solutions/Services – Preferably Cisco, Microsoft related solutions and services, IT Managed services, Professional Services.
