Qualifications:
You Will
Act as a SME and Administrator on the enterprise project portfolio management related systems and interfaces, providing best-in-class daily production support coverage for questions and issues and sharing best practices that are flexible and efficient while driving systems enhancements and staying abreast of related industry trends.
Document technical systems and interfaces support procedures and workflows with detail and precision.
Create training materials, including Quick Reference Guides and FAQs, for system end users and present training materials and updates at appropriate communication and change management forums.
Facilitate the rigorous identification and documentation of business requirements and related test cases for system enhancement requests.
Work collaboratively with business and IT areas in planning and conducting the analysis of business problems to be solved and/or technical risks to be mitigated to enhance and/or gain operational efficiencies.
Approach process and systems analysis strategically, looking for the leap forward opportunities to add value to the business.
Demonstrate effective negotiation skills and the ability to influence decisions.
Complete data mining of both internal and external data sources and then identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data. Transform analyses into concrete, actionable recommendations to support the strategic plan.
Validate those new solutions (people, process, and technology) meet business objectives using quantitative and qualitative data.
Develop, maintain, and ensure adherence to corporate standards, policies, and procedures.
You Have
Extensive knowledge of Agile values, principles, and mindset with at least 5 years’ experience contributing to Agile and non-Agile software development.
Demonstrated experience with systems support and administration, with strong technical acumen and system thinking as well as a focus on providing superior customer satisfaction.
An ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple and logical manner.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with high attention to detail and accuracy.
Demonstrated track record in effective requirement elicitation and analysis and technical troubleshooting.
Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Extensive experience working on cross-functional process improvement projects, preferably in an analytical role such as data analyst, business analyst, operational excellence, process improvement.
Expert knowledge and experience process mapping and value stream mapping.
Critical thinking skills, ability to define problems, establish facts and draw conclusions.
Proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications
Exceptional verbal and written communication, interpersonal and customer service skills.
Experience preparing, summarizing, and presenting information and recommendations.
Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals across the organization.
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of Guardian in both oral and written.
Systems supported: Jira Align, Jira, Confluence (being replaced by SharePoint), SharePoint, ServiceNow ITSM (intake/ticketing, workflows, dashboards, and reports) and soon also ITBM/SPM (PPM version of ServiceNow), and APIs that pass data between these systems including through a (Guardian) Data Lake
Additional skills needed/desired: Advanced skills in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, macros, charts), all MS Office tools including Power Point presentations and Visio workflows, critical thinking/analysis (root cause analysis, finding patterns in data, etc.), detailed documentation/organization, and excellent communication (especially customer service) and presentation skills to various audiences. API developer skills a big plus as well as a background in writing detailed requirements and test cases and performing and leading unit/integrated/user acceptance testing.
