Position Description:
Provide first level supervision within the Major Incident Management team. Mentor, coach and assist in ensuring satisfactory review performance for employees on the Major Incident Management Team. Lead incident coordination as needed as well as providing technical leadership in performing Root Cause Analysis. Own process management for MIM and documentation management for the same.
Provide high severity incident management assistance in real time to internal Harman employees during emergency IT situations. Perform analysis of reported incidents in real time to determine severity. Coordinate communication between all related IT groups during incidents and manage official communications to the business. Work closely with the Monitoring and other IT teams to help prevent incidents before they occur. Work closely with Problem Management team to help with Problem Management investigations and Root Cause Analysis. Reports directly to the Global Command Center Manager.
Minimum Work Experience: 5 years
Position Requirements:
Minimum 5-7 years of experience working in a corporate IT environment
Minimum 3 years of people management experience
Excellent English language and communication skills including written communication
Senior level critical situation management experience
Senior level experience with MS Office, MS Teams
Experience with Problem Management
Skill managing bridges and related tools (WebEx, telephony)
Comfortable communicating with senior and executive management
Solid presentation skills
ITIL a must
Preferred Skills:
Advanced level technical skillset
Experience with analyzing data and preparing reports
ITIL Foundation Certification
