We are looking for a seasoned Hybris Developer to join a dynamic team on HPE transformation program. The candidates will focus on technical development to deliver business requirements.
What you’ll do:
Responsibilities:
Participates as a member of development team. Performs basic analysis of functional or business requirements. Completes code stubs prepared by more senior developers. Participates in code review. Prepares and executes Unit tests. Applies advanced technical knowledge to maintain a technology area (e.g. Database Administration).
May perform solution design. Applies the company and 3rd party technologies to infrastructure and software solutions of moderate complexity. Implements end- user or enterprise infrastructure or services prepared by more senior technologist.

As the QA Engineer Lead , you’ll ensure that our technology is bulletproof. You’ll work cross-functionally with the development and product teams to deliver top-notch products, all the while raising understanding and appreciation across the company for well-implemented QA. With a combination of thought leadership and hands-on testing, this role is ideal for a candidate who is eager to make a big impact.
eCommerce, Configure, Price and Quote IT, part of HPE Global IT is responsible for providing best in class IT solutions to enable HPE’s customer and partner to do business seamlessly with HPE.
Main Responsibilities:
Work with Business, PM, QA Lead and Dev team to plan/design testing strategy including SIT, UAT, Performance testing.
Prioritize and estimate work to be done alongside designers and Product Owner, to ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget. Be transparent about progress.
Identify test scenarios that are critical and repetitive and automate them, overseeing their execution and maintenance.
Work with the team to ensure bugs are triaged and resolved in time, creating a culture of quality in the production teams you are part of
Provide test plans that allow clients to conduct UAT
Lead the development of the Quality Assurance practice area at HPE through process improvements and knowledge sharing
Stay up-to-date with the latest tools and technologies and explore and support non-functional areas such as Performance, Security, and Accessibility testing
Ensure to create/maintain test automation suite
Ensure to measure performance for key functional flows and share with stake holders

What you need to bring:
Education and Experience Required:
Typically a technical Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 3 years of related experience or a Master’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
2+ years recently working in software testing, QA automation using Selenium, Java or JavaScript/TypeScript
Work experience using Selenium and various automated testing frameworks such as JMeter, Load Runner. TOSCA is plus.
Hands-on experience with automated testing of web applications and portals
Work experience integrating automated tests with CI/CD systems
Automated testing experience of REST API
Work experience coding with JavaScript or TypeScript
Understanding of Agile development methodology
Mastery of Jira and/or other issue-tracking systems
Exceptional communication skills
Willingness to get your feet wet. This role runs the gamut of strategy and hands-on implementation; we need someone who will dive into both spectrums without hesitation
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Ability to assess organization’s overarching goals, and develop test methodologies, approaches, and documentation to achieve said goals
