Job Description:
Applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and is regarded as a subject matter expert. Frequently contributes to the development of new ideas and methods. Works on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Leads and/or provides expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives. Acts as an expert providing direction and guidance to process improvements and establishing policies. Frequently represents the organization to external customers/clients. Exercises significant independent judgment within broadly defined policies and practices to determine best method for accomplishing work and achieving objectives. May provide mentoring and guidance to lower level employees.
Works to triage/resolve internal and customer OneView and Compute Ops Manager issues, including end-to-end config/setup issues, release testing, and validating defects.
Provide customer, community, service, and proactive support for all Compute Ops Manager customers.
Perform network troubleshooting to isolate and diagnose common network problems
Capable of working in a 24×7 environment in rotation shifts
SME for Ethernet, FCoE, RoCEv1/v2 and FC technologies
SME for Interop/ Integration with third party networking
SME on development, test, and support issues.
Provide customer impact to design architects for new features.
Provide support to development teams, triaging dev and testing defects/issues.
Develop/deliver training for external and internal consumption.
Maintain strong partnership with the HPE PointNext organization.
Support weekly collaboration calls with HPE PointNext teams worldwide.
Consult daily with HPE PointNext on customer issues, working them through triage, resolution, and response.
Provide technical training sessions for HPE PointNext leads.
Support internal development and test teams.
Resolve customer production-down/impacting issues to get systems back online by providing workarounds until permanent fix can be delivered to customers.
Support HPE OneView (OV) and Synergy customers to ensure our HPE customers are able to continue successfully running both non-production lab and production environments.
Review internal product documentation.
Review OV/Synergy/ICM Release Notes, User Guides, and Whitepapers.
Create and revise OV and Synergy customer communications.
Provide continual support for OV and Synergy Marketing inquiries.
