Join a world class Global Networking team. You will be responsible for designing, building, operating and decommissioning the telecommunications infrastructure across the sites throughout the different regions in Honeywell. You will serve as the SME for Networking (Voice/Telephony or LAN, or WAN, and WLAN )services. You will deploy HUE-oriented cost-effective solutions based on customer needs. You will lead a small team of technical professional who supports IT Operations globally. You will support the day-to-day operations of legacy and contemporary Voice/LAN/WAN solutions, including SIP technologies, E911, PBX, Skype for business, SBAs, dynamic segmentation, Qos, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
.Provide architectural guidance and expertise on Remote access and related network security solutions
.Provide Level 2/3 operational support for remote access technologies and services, user authentication,
and user administrative services.
.Troubleshoot escalated issues to identify and repair complex network issues and end-user issues.
. Create compelling business cases around problems, outcomes, risks, benefits, and the financial
justification required to execute a seamless service.
.Communicate and coordinate network maintenance, operational status, and downtime to users and management
. Participate in Go-Live support of any design deployment and transition into operational steady state.
.Respond to emergency network outages in accordance with business continuity and disaster recovery
plans assisting other departments as required.
.Perform analysis of network needs and contribute to design of network architecture, integration, and installation.
.Participate as a contributor in the implementation of Projects, taking direction from Network Architects, Senior Engineers and/or project leads.
.Prepare and maintain documentation of network standards, configurations, procedures and cabling layouts.
.Interact with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure network products and services.
.Provide guidance and instruction to other members of the team.
.Monitor and identify network capacity and performance issues to maximize efficiency of company communication systems.
.Perform system and equipment audits.
.Recommend network design changes based upon system review, test results, monitoring data and company requirements.
.Participate in a 24/7 split on-call rotation providing technical support as and when required.
.Help Level1 Techincians [Service Desk agents] in effectively delivering service to Honeywell Business Units and employees following existing processes. > Train Level 1 team on remote access solutions. > Maintain knowledgebase documents. > Provide assistance to successfully identify, plan, and migrate users to new remote access clients.
.Testing on multiple OS platforms to resolve complex baseline issues on existing and new product deployments.
.Strong knowledge on Network and security design
.Support of backend application and databases
.Knowledge on public key infrastructure
You Value:
.Bachelor’s Degree required
.CCNA or CCNP Certification
.Minimum 5-7 years experience in LAN/WAN, Network Security Firewall Design/operations
.Minimum 1-year hands on Experience with ServiceNow, or any other ITSM tools
.Prefer experience with Cisco ASA/AnyConnect/ACS/ISE/IPS
.Detailed knowledge SSL VPN, site – to – site VPN tunnels
.Network Segmentation, ISE.
.Strong understanding of network QoS methods, markings, and mitigation strategies
.Experience managing IPAM, working knowledge of Infoblox
.Ability to conduct research across a wide range of networking, telephony, security and wireless issues
.Ability to effectively prioritize and direct the execution of tasks in a high-pressure environment
.Hands-on experience with network management, monitoring and reporting tools
.Ability to operate tools, components, peripherals, and testing equipment
.Ability to read and interpret technical documents and procedure manuals
.Ability to analyze network performance data to identify trends and potential problems, and support recommendations to modify and/or upgrade network equipment or services
.Ability to effectively investigate and resolve issues starting with limited information
.Requires personal accountability in order to accomplish goals
.Ability to work with little supervision and perform in the best interest of the company
.Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
.Excellent written and verbal communication skills
.Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on listening and questioning
