We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Controls Manager, Infrastructure Delivery, Technology CCO.
In this role, you will:
Role Purpose-
The Chief Control Office (CCO) plays an important role in enabling the bank to operate within its risk appetite, by ensuring efficient and effective risk and control management. CCO achieves this by providing operational risk and control expertise, conducting high quality reviews of the bank’s control environment, conducting end to end control assurance reviews on key controls, maintaining robust risk governance focused on material risk and issues, and evolving a culture of continuous and consistent risk management.
The CCO Manager Infrastructure Delivery CCO is part of the CCO Technology, Infrastructure, Shared Services and Cloud team within the DBS CCO Technology Office and will report into the Senior Manager Infrastructure Delivery, CCO.
The CCO Infrastructure Delivery Team, is part of the CCO Technology, Infrastructure, Shared Services and Cloud team within the DBS CCO Technology Office and the role will report into the Senior Controls Manager within the team.
Role responsibilities are to support the Global Head of Controls Technology, Infrastructure, Shared Services and Cloud, across all aspects of the CCO Infrastructure Delivery team. This includes (but is not limited to):
Act as trusted advisor for the senior management of the supported remit area on how to properly manage their operational risk and all items related (Risk assessments, Control environment, issues management
Manage the promotion of accountable risk and control decision-making based on quality data and commercial analysis
Manage the provision of specialist risk and control knowledge and insights
Support efforts to continuously improve the control environment, monitoring of risk, including behaviours
Support efforts to evolve the controls architecture to reflect digital, dev ops and cloud agendas
Identify trends to anticipate future developments in the risk and control environment
Actively challenge poor, inefficient or excessive controls, related tasks and behaviours
Support the development and implementation of future-fit risk management frameworks
Influence and shape the development of regulatory frameworks in collaboration with internal parties
Provide remit area Senior Management with updates on any relevant changes to policy or projects related to operational risk that have an impact on their area of responsibility.
Identify trends to anticipate future developments in the risk and control environment
Promote desired behaviours and a positive risk culture across the remit area

Developing, aligning and translating strategies and plans to achieve business and functional goals
Analysing and interpreting risk and control related information to provide insight and improvement with clear and measurable outcomes.
Delivering clear, concise and consumable messages based on good evidence and informed judgement that support risk and control related decision making
Driving improvements to information metrics and processes to strengthen risk management and internal control
Customers/Stakeholders:
Stakeholder management is multi-faceted across geographies, Businesses and Functions.
Presenting and reporting complex risk and control information in ways that are meaningful for different stakeholders
Applying professional understanding, expertise and judgement to oversee the health of the end-to-end control environment
Monitoring and analysing the performance of the control environment to drive more effective design and operation of controls
Leveraging opportunities to implement more automated, effective and cost-efficient controls and measures of effectiveness
Providing advice, support and challenge to stakeholders to help them understand and manage controls and risks effectively

Requirements
