We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Cybersecurity Lead for Global Banking and Credit & Lending IT
In this role, you will:
The Global Banking and Wholesale Credit and Lending Service Line Cybersecurity Lead role is responsible in driving the execution of the Group Information Security and Cybersecurity strategy across the service lines and helping meet the objectives aligned to the group and Wholesale IT focus areas. The role is part of the first line of defense (1LOD) and responsible for leading the Cybersecurity function and managing information security risks and controls (including cyber and non-cyber owned controls) relating to their governance, operation, monitoring and reporting.
The role will support and provide effective services to the service lines and will support the business and its technology function in their run the bank and change the bank programmes, particularly in relation to information security and cybersecurity requirements.
In this role, the Cybersecurity Service Line Lead will partner with Wholesale IT Cybersecurity team and Group Cybersecurity team to collate and report on the management of information security and cybersecurity risks and controls; translate technical information into consumable reports for senior stakeholders; support with the delivery of information security and cyber remediation activities; support with the delivery of cybersecurity transformation programmes; and gather information to report on regulatory compliance as required.
The role requires engagement with various stakeholders across the business/ service line and the ability to translate technical Cybersecurity concepts into consumable language for the business stakeholders. The role holder needs to drive continuous assessment and improvement of cybersecurity and information security risk in line with the Bank’s risk appetites and a constantly evolving cyber-threat landscape.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Minimum Bachelor Degree and/or experience in Cybersecurity domain, IT security governance and operational processes, preferably in the Financial Services industry or global corporate service provider
Qualifications – desirable but NOT essential one or more industry-recognized cybersecurity-related certifications including ISO270001, CISA, CISM, CISSP, CRISC
Experience of a control (Risk Management) environment, including reviewing adherence to/enforcing/promoting policies and standards
Excellent communication skills to articulate at a senior management level, to peers at Group level and to external organizations (Clients, Auditors, Regulators). Ability to communicate technical subject matter to non-technical stakeholders
Proven ability to prioritise competing demands
Demonstrated ability to assess risk trends
Risk and Issues management – including escalation
Positive and professional attitude, team player, flexible and adaptable, open to change(s)
Confident and takes responsibility and ownership for work and personal development
Good spoken and written communication and ability to adapt style based on audience (Fluent in spoken / written English)
Demonstrated ability to rapidly build relationships with key stakeholders
