We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Service Management Lead
In this role, you will:
Improve the availability and reliability of IT Services.
Actively participates in consideration of current and emerging technologies and measures the proposed value to the consumer.
Work with Service Owner to confirms capacity planning is conducted to assess the daily, weekly, monthly and long term demands.
Improve the resilience of IT Services
Reduce consumption and internal cross charges of IT infrastructure and free up capacity to be used elsewhere avoiding new investment and direct cost.
Adopt new ways of working to improve service and meet the customers’ needs
Encourage simplified process tactically and strategically
Create opportunities for an accelerated pace of change and at the same time ensuring continuous improvement
Manage, monitor and track all aspects of service globally for the department
Drive people Uplift of the Service Quality and ITSO community
Embed a service management practice
Create a change in culture to become customer and colleague focused
Ensure proactive and timely review of each of the risk controls, understand how to mitigate the risk
Govern the adherence and actions to achieve and / or maintain control effectiveness
Ensure pro-active and timely assessment of known or new risk or issue
Provide forward-looking MI for key stakeholders to enable pro-active planning & prioritised execution
Drive data quality improvements to ensure accuracy and improvement of source data across systems
Requirements
Project Management skills and experience
Understanding of the programme / project lifecycle
Understanding of Business Transformation Frameworks and best practice techniques.
Stakeholder management experience, especially impactful communication, influencing and running programme governance
Implementation, change management and benefits realization
The candidate must have technical knowledge on Service Management tools and well acquainted with Mainframe, Java , .net and other new technologies like AWS, GCP.
The candidate should be well versed with Risk management process within HSBC and have managed to close them single handedly.
The candidate should be proactive in automating solution for HTI process and also actively participate & lead HTI & department level initiative. He should have innovative mindset and technical hands on.
The candidate should have a good understanding of BOS solutions like customer communication, document management, process optimization and its components in the system.
Graduate preferably with a degree in IT;
Must have ~19 + years of relevant experience
Excellent presentation skill
Previous background of working in a matrix organizational structure
