We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Finance Manager for Global Operations and Automation, HSBC Technology Centre India.
In this role, you will:
Lead on key financial activities, including budget tracking/managing cost base
Coordinate monthly Forecast, working closely with regions and business managers
Review actuals, investigate any anomalies and take appropriate action to fix any issues
Regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis, both to support decision making as well as tracking budget
Key contact for annual planning cycle and other planning activities
Support/manage CAMs (cost allocation methodology) process for the area
Work closely with Workforce Manager to ensure resource forecasting is assurate
Manage third party spend budget, including review and approvals process
Other Finance related activities
Key Responsibilities:
Managing Forecast and actuals
Managing budgeting
Preparing analysis as required by central team or the business
Key point of contact representing Operations and Automation numbers in multiple forums/to key stakeholders
Regular reporting
Preparing OpCo packs
Working with the team to ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard
Ensuring business managers/WFM Forecast in the systems is up to date and to a high standard
Coordinating planning
Coordinating budget interlocking
Coordinate/manage Cost allocation methodology
Managing third party spend, including approval process for the area
A range of other Finance related tasks
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
Degree educated, Finance/accounting preferred but will consider other candidates with suitable experience
Min. 10 years of Finance experience
Experience in Business Management helpful but not essential
Good understanding/knowledge of finance and accounting processes
Knowledge of financial budgeting and strategic planning
Experience working in a global team with multiple geographies, ability to work well with people in different locations
Understanding of cost allocation
Strong communication skills, abality to summarise findings and proposed solutions in a clear way
Good influential skills
Good team player, always respecting others
