Your Role and Responsibilities
The IBM CIO IT Support organization is transforming Help Desk services within the company.
We are looking for talented candidates to join IBM’s Help Desk team in Bangalore, India.
Responsibilities:
As a passionate, flexible & talented advisor, you will be an integral part of this support team that
will deliver a new premier support experience for our end users. Customer satisfaction is your
key focus and you will be a significant contributor delivering IT Support that will delight our
IBM employees. Upon joining this exciting new team of collaborative and customer focused
advisors, your goal will be to deliver excellence in solving end user problems. As a creative
problem solver you take pride in the service you deliver. You can quickly determine what help a
colleague needs and how best to deliver it, adapting the technical guidance required to the
technical skill of the caller. You’ll be comfortable in technical environments and quickly be able
to analyze complex multi-system issues. Sometimes you’ll need to reach out to colleagues to help
achieve a resolution but you’ll maintain that first contact point relationship until the customer is
delighted. You will need to work in shifts on a monthly rotational basis.
This role requires outstanding communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Must
have the ability to work in Bangalore without current/future need for IBM sponsorship.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Excellent communication skills
Basic knowledge of Windows/Mac/iOS/Linux operating systems
Active listener with flexibility to modify approach and adapt to customer needs
Proven problem solving skills
Flexibility to work on 24/7 operations model.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Knowledge of Windows 10/11, MacOS Ventura, iOS 16 & above, Linux 8.4
Experience in customer support services
Ability to multi-task
Open to share Knowledge
Education:
BE/B.Tech with any branches.
Percentage – 70% In the current degree Pursuing (No Standing backlogs)
